Ketih Levene is dead.

Here I'm Still practicing writting in English, perhaps with a little effort I will soon be able to write an essay, and in the future even an epic poem... but let's go in parts.

Last week I read an article on the BBC website reporting the death of Keith Levene, guitarist of the English band The Clash, he was 65 years old. Although his stay in the band was brief. This prompted me to search Spotify for a playlist by this band. I chose the album titled "THE CLASH LIVE IN NYC 1979", listeinig to it reafirmed my taste for post-punk and new wave, genres of which this band was a pioneer.

I Enjoyed listening for to the live versions of several of my favorite songs; "Koka Kola", "The Guns of Brixton" and of course: "London Calling", one of my all time favorites.

Although I didn't have to live those times, it's one of the great discoverys that outlined my musical taste in adolescence. Also, it was the influence of bands that I really liked, like U2, Pearl Jam. The Strokes, Artic Monkeys and even Manu Chao has revealed the infleunce of The Clash.

That's why I wanted to dedicate a few lines to this band, albeit briefly. When my command of English improves I will be able to write something more than this very brief review.
